RoOil — Class I underground hydrocarbon separator.
EN 858 certified. From NS 1,5 to NS 50 (1,5 to 50 l/s). For car parks, workshops and filling stations.
The RoOil is a Class I (≤5 mg/L of hydrocarbons) hydrocarbon separator made of high-density polyethylene for underground installation. EN 858 certified, it integrates a sludge settling chamber, coalescing filter, automatic closure device (0,90 gr/cm³), inlet baffle and sampling point. 9 models from NS 1,5 to NS 50 for flow rates from 1,5 to 50 l/s.
Why the RoOil?
In installations at risk of hydrocarbon contamination — covered car parks, vehicle repair workshops, wash bays and filling stations — the law requires a hydrocarbon separator to be fitted before the connection to the public sewer. The RoOil complies with EN 858 Class I, guaranteeing effluent with less than 5 mg/L of total hydrocarbons.
The single-piece, weld-free HDPE tank withstands soil pressure and groundwater. The automatic closure device shuts off the separator when the hydrocarbon chamber is full, preventing the effluent from exceeding the legal limit. Access through a telescopic DN600 cover for simple maintenance.

The RoOil in detail

- 1Telescopic DN600 coverAccess to the interior. Telescopic extension included. Compatible with B125/D400 cast iron covers.
- 2Flow baffleSlows the effluent at the inlet to improve settling.
- 3Sludge settling chamberFirst chamber: retention of settleable solids and sludge.
- 4Coalescing filterPromotes the coalescence of oil droplets, speeding up flotation.
- 5Hydrocarbon chamberRetention and accumulation of floated oils and hydrocarbons.
- 6Automatic closure deviceShuts off the outlet when the hydrocarbons reach 0,90 gr/cm³, preventing discharge.
- 7Sampling pointAllows effluent samples to be taken for regulatory laboratory analysis.
Supply includes: Single-piece HDPE tank; sludge settling chamber; coalescing filter; automatic closure device; inlet baffle; sampling point; 1 or 2 telescopic DN600 access points (depending on the model). DN110 to DN250 connections according to flow rate.
